I haven't made rice pudding for years (probably since the kids were little so at least 10 years) but when I looked for short grain rice in the supermarket last week I couldn't find it anymore. What do you use instead!Would arborio be OK!Or is sushi rice better because it's stickier!

I was looking for short grain rice quite recently for the very same thing.rice pudding, and found PAMS short grain rice at pack 'n save. I hadn't seen short grain rice in such a long time. I have Arborio rice which I know I could have used and had I not found the short grain rice I would have used it. So, short grain rice is definitely still available.
Arborio is a short grain rice, same as sushi rice.
