I did one once that tasted a bit eggy too - followed the recipe to a T. I'd be interested to know any tricks for the roulade, as it sounded so yummy and was super easy to make. I haven't been game to try it again.
Agree would allow at least 1 cup for 4 whites.And if they were big ones, I'd probably use more.
