it to a white sauce with other herbs for a fish pie!I am using Tarakihi.I have been reading some recipes and it seems split 50/50 whether to poach fresh fish or not.TIA

aglaranna1, earlier this afternoon I received an e-mail from our local Seafood Market and with that e-mail was the following link to a recipe for Fish Pie - the fish is poached in milk that is then used for the sauce.
Thank you, I am going to give poaching the fish a go & using that milk in my white sauce :-)
