Truffles made from cream and sponge cake

A coupel years ago i had a very nice recipe for a truffle type of thing. i remember i broke a sponge cake up into crumbs, combined it with some coconut, some cut up dried apricots and wet the mixture with cream and a bit of rum I think. rolled into balls and dipped into chocolate. I've lost my recipe and i was hoping someone recognises what I'm talking about and has the recipe

I think pickles7 has one like that in her long baking thread.

I couldn't find the pickles7 one but is this similar!

Ingredients
2 cups finely ground cake crumbs from a leftover cake
2 tablespoons cocoa powder, optional
1 cup icing sugar, sifted, plus extra for rolling
1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
2 to 4 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup dark rum

4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted, optional
Directions
In a mixing bowl fitted with the paddle attachment, or by hand, mix together the cake crumbs, cocoa powder, icing sugar, and nuts. Stir in the 2 tablespoons of honey and the rum. Using your hands, try to form the mixture into a ball. If the mixture won't hold together add a little more honey. Roll the mixture into 2cm balls, then roll them in icing sugar or (after chilling) dip in melted chocolate. Leave for 24 hours to allow them to set properly.

hmm no it was quite different - definitely cream (non whipped cream) and fresh sponge cake
