Marmite is now yesterday's news but NatRad's media commentary has shown how silly all the reporting was, with several TV channels picking up and repeating Morning Report's pun on supplies being on a 'knife-edge'.
There was also 'Marmageddon', plans for further production being 'shelved', the shortage 'spread' around the country and several other weak attempts at being punny ;)

As I said on another thread, the main difference between Marmite and Vegemite, it was published, is that marmite contains 5 to 6 times the amount of sugar that Vegemite does.
So buy Vegemite, and stir through 1 - 2 teaspoons of icing sugar.

As I too posted in another thread - in Books, I think - here are two verses from promotional competitions run by the two companies (the first is a Limerick which won the contestant a black Volkswagen):
