I wash my rice, then soak for 10 min. When cooking I add 1/2 tsp tumeric and some cumin seeds, with a liitle salt.

butter, soy sauce and a good sprinkle of lemon pepper seasoning, we had some monks visit us and it was one of their dishes, it was super yummy too. .

Onion, cumin seeds and black mustard seeds makes a great addition to rice for an Indian meal.

Adding a packet of maggi chicken noodle soup near the end of cooking time makes its nice.
