Years ago my nana made yummy biscuts that had rice bubbles in them. It was not the ricebubble crackles that have kremelta in them. They didnt have cocoa in them either. Just a yummy biscuit that had ricies added. She also made a biscuit that had Kornies in them, these never had cocoa in them either. They were just delicious. If anyone has the recipe for either biscuits I would be extremely grateful. Thanks everyone.

Cornflake Biscuits
4 oz butter 6 oz flour 4 oz sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1 egg 1 large cup of cornflakes Vanilla essence
Cream butter and sugar and essence.Add egg and beat well.Mix in sifted flour, baking powder, then add cornflakes. Roll into balls.Place on to a greased tray, flatten slightly.Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 180C.

Cornflake Cookies 125g sugar 125g butter 1 egg 175g flour 1t baking powder 1/2 c raisins pinch salt 1 c cornflakes
Cream butter and sugar. Add lightly beaten egg. Sift in flour and baking powder. Mix in raisins, salt and cornflakes. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes.

from the Older Edmonds book: Bubble logs 125g butter 2 TBSPS honey 125g brown sugar or 125g white sugar +1 tsp vanilla essence, 4 cups rice bubbles 1/2 cup coconut Place butter, sugar and honey in a large saucepan, and boil 6 mins, stir in vanilla, (optional) and rice bubbles and coconut, press into oblong pan while warm, leave to set, and cut into squares.

Lemon Crunch, an oldie but a goodie. 120 grams butter 1/4 cup sugar 2 cups cornflakes 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon golden syrup 1 cup coconut 1/2 cup flour Lemon icing.
Melt butter and golden syrup in a saucepan. Add to sugar, coconut, cornflakes, flour and baking powder and mix well together, then press into a flat tin. Bake at 200C for 20 minutes. Ice while hot with a nice lemon icing. Cut when cold.
