Unless the customer asks for hard boiled eggs they should be at least liquid to some degree. If the yolks are solid, the chef got it wrong and they should be sent back.

Dogs almost never have egg on their faces no matter what stupid things they say. It is because you can just never take them seriously, especially when they wag their tails every time they lie and have long, long tongues for licking. Yours must be special doggys.

Uli, I agree with you. We have recipes for a reason.
But, when there is such a common dish, there many many regional variations. Which means there are many ways to do a dish, all of which are 'correct'

I'm not sure I know anyone named Benedict. I remember once having a crush on a Ben though. I think he played for the other side so I certainly had egg on my face then.
