Yeah - already on page 3 of trying to figure out:
"Eggs in Eggs Benedict - Should they be runny, or is it acceptable to have the yolks go solid!"

What else could we write about that question!

buzzy110, Jan 7, 11:02pm
I know. I usually have icecream and melted fudge dripping down my face just so that there is no doubt and I always wear my dress with the plunging neckline and the very latest in fashionable bibs.

pickles7, Jan 7, 11:03pm
Can see it now, 10 dogs and a yolk.

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:05pm
i would wear a plunging neck line but i would scare the horses and i dont know what it would do to the males around here ,they are mostly not very bright

uli, Jan 7, 11:06pm
Male horses!

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:07pm
not bloody likely

pickles7, Jan 7, 11:08pm
Are you saying , some are!

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:08pm
no three dogs and free range hens the dogs love eggs so the hens are a waste of time

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:09pm
no just the males around here most are too slow to move out of their own way

uli, Jan 7, 11:09pm
Come on, come on - back to the topic:
"Eggs in Eggs Benedict - Should they be runny, or is it acceptable to have the yolks go solid!"

pickles7, Jan 7, 11:09pm
darn do they bring them inside for you then. the shells

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:11pm

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:12pm
i doont like eggs benedict so i dont eat it

pickles7, Jan 7, 11:16pm
RUNNY it is

pickles7, Jan 7, 11:19pm
Not so good. I had a pet chook as a child that took to eating eggs, I cry as I remember it's head, commin off.

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:23pm
i do that when i need to other than that some of the cats around here like a bit of fresh hen

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:24pm
are you saying your not laughing at this

richard198, Jan 7, 11:24pm
Unless the customer asks for hard boiled eggs they should be at least liquid to some degree.
If the yolks are solid, the chef got it wrong and they should be sent back.

whitehead., Jan 7, 11:26pm
they should cook their own im off to cook my tea good night

buzzy110, Jan 7, 11:28pm
Dogs almost never have egg on their faces no matter what stupid things they say. It is because you can just never take them seriously, especially when they wag their tails every time they lie and have long, long tongues for licking. Yours must be special doggys.

duckmoon, Jan 7, 11:28pm
Uli, I agree with you.
We have recipes for a reason.

But, when there is such a common dish, there many many regional variations. Which means there are many ways to do a dish, all of which are 'correct'

pickles7, Jan 7, 11:30pm
gee no, It required a direct answer.

buzzy110, Jan 7, 11:31pm
I'm not sure I know anyone named Benedict. I remember once having a crush on a Ben though. I think he played for the other side so I certainly had egg on my face then.

buzzy110, Jan 7, 11:33pm
I think we should take the yolks out altogether and use them in semi freddo. That way everyone is happy!

cookessentials, Jan 7, 11:34pm
Mmmm,I dont remember seeing anything that said they should be hard.oh, hang on, Uli reckons they should be hard with maggi sauce on! EEeeek.
