Crumbing schnitzel and realised i didnt get eggs

today. is it possible to crumb schnitzel using another ingredient? I have googled and found nothing.

you can use custard powder, mix with water to the consistency that you would like dig meat

On the Food Van on Sunday Night the chef used a thin layer of mustard to help the crumbs adhere to the fish. As beef and mustard are a match made in heaven, you might like to try that.

I often use 2-3 Tbspns cornflour mixed with 1-2 Tbsp soy sauce + 2-3 cold water-makes a great coating that dries well

what about a batter, flour water salt?, flour meat, dip in batter, dip in breadcrumbs, fry, enjoy!

On Saturday night, I did crumbed Tarakihi (sp) Lightly coated with dijon mustard and then coated in real breadcrumbs infused with basil.Was very pleased with the result

ive always crumbed schnitzel by dipping in flour, then milk, then crumbs. and if you want to be fancy i but the herbs and whatnot in the flour.
