Pavlova - using blender stick

I don't have an electric beater with me, would a blender stick work!

I can't see that that would work as the motion of blender blades work completely different to a whisk.I suppose you could try it on one egg white maybe and see what happens! A blender changes the integrity of the food you use it on, potatoes that are blended rather than mashed or beaten for example take on a completely different texture and become a gluggy mess rather than a nice light fluffy mash, not sure what would happen to egg whites.

No, don't do it, I blew mine up trying to make a pavlova, it took so long and got so hot it blew. Then I had to resort to hand beating, needless to say it was a total flop :(

No.too fast and does not get the air in.use a hand beater.

You wont be able to fold the mixture enough to get the volume required for a good pav.
