I have to take three dips for Christmas Day and usually only do the reduced cream and maggi onion soup mix one, so would be really grateful for others.Many thanks in advance.

1/2 cup corn relish 300ml light sour cream 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives Combine then sprinkle with extra chopped chives

50/50 sour cream and cream cheese. Use this as a base and add any combo of flavours that appeal to you, divide the mix and hey presto you have different dips. Some combo ideas:- finely chopped onion, capsicum and cucumber/gherkins - sweet and sour chilli sauce - avocado and salmon - smoked fish. Any proprietary chutney/relish. Whatever you like really. Remember to season and add lemon juice if desired.

Herb dip - mix 50/50 sour cream and cream cheese, then blitz in fresh basil, parsley and chives, a pinch of salt and pepper and some lemon zest. I tend to use more basil than chives, but I love that flavour. Let it 'set' in the fridge, then serve with crackers, crudites or bread. Friends who have had it in the past always ask if there's 'green dip' available, when we have a gathering!

This is easy and is really yummy. 250g pot of cream cheese and add a small can of sweet thai chilli tuna and mix well. Serve with crackers and a cut up french stick bread. Yum!

I don't like the soup mix dips - it always tastes powdery and too salty to me

Cheese & Pineapple Dip 1 x Pottle Cream Cheese 1 x smallest size tin crushed pineapple - remove juice 1 x packet french onion soup mix
Divine.
or
1 x pottle sour cream 1 x jar salsa grated cheese
mix together and heat in microwave just before serving with corn chips also very good
