I fried up some sausage meat (from one of the tubes from the supermarket) into little sausage patties for lunch. There was a lot of fat from them that is in the pan. I want to do some roasty/fried potatoes for dinner - can I fry them in that fat or not good?

not good use fresh fat is best or it will stink
