Each to their own, My opinion is you have to add flavourin the S/C or it will be bland tasting.We have whole chooks with paprika or soy sauce glaze, browned up, not crispy skin but they are moist, roasts beef,lamb rolled with balsamic and garlic are good,self saucing puds and milk puds are nice to, and usual stews, curries, soups etc. Have just done a lot of sweet/sour blade steak for tonight, comfort foodlol, on this cold day.
