I have made my first pickled onions. I have filled the jar with the mix but find that the onions are floating with the top ones above the surface. Will they sink? Or have I stuffed up.

They will be fine.Will last for years and get better with age.

Thank you. I cant wait for them to be ready to eat.The recipe said only 3 to 4 weeks. I will wait for at least 6 weeks.

Turn the jars over for a few days, so the top ones get submerged.
