I have no butter but can I use oil. Its a Sophie Gray recipe (Danas choc cake) does anyone know if its ok to sub the butter for oil? ? ? And if so how much oil would I need for 100g butter? ? ?

yes, have a look at the other post for choc cake, it uses oil and is SO moist and delicious.

yeap the recipe i use for choccy cake has no butter in it. has got oil tho.
