Taken from Alison Holst best of book Pumpkin Loaf 1C pumpkin puree 100g butter 11/2C brown sugar 2 eggs 2C self raising flour 1/2t bs 1t cinnamon 1/2t nutmeg 1/2t ginger 1/4t ground cloves
Cream butter and sugar,add eggs, beat well then stir in cold pumpkin puree. Sift dry ingredients together. Fold in half of sifted dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture, then mix in remaining half until evenly combined, but do not beat. Bake 180 degrees for an hour

Thank you (elliehen,) that was the one i had lost but will try the other recipe as well from lissy 73 thank you both.
