I use slices of cucumber as the base of canapes with a variety of toppings.Tuna dip is a treat on top.

l slice cucumber and put a prawn on top that has been cooked in oil and garlic and then a good mayo on top and a sprinkle of lemon zest The only trouble is they vanish in no time usually before l get one and l get asked to make them for all family gatherings now

A hard boiled egg sliced on top of a piece of sliced cucumber put on top of a snax biscuit.
