Put up for. buzzy110.
Similar to the condensed milk salad dressing recipe.

Mix together to dissolve the following ingredients.
1 cup of sugar,
2 cups of milk powder,
1 Tbsp butter,
3/4 cup of boiling water.
cool
Add
2 tsp dry mustard powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup of good malt vinegar.
The longer it is left in the fridge the smoother this becomes.
I sometimes take 1/2 a cup of this and add curry powder to taste, chopped chili, grated ginger, etc. To add a bit of variety.
All ingredients to your own taste.

whole egg mayonnaise

1 whole egg
juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon whole grain mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
150 mils of sunflower oil
150 mils of canola oil
You will need a stick blender and a tall beaker to make this mayonnaise.
Put the egg into the beaker first
Put the other ingredients carefully on top of the egg, so as not to disturb the egg.
Lower the stick blender in to the bottom without disturbing the ingredients.
Pulse the blender, until the ingredients start to emulsify, tilt the blender to allow the oil to be incorporated.

Keep salads cool, and covered.
Now is a good time to make sure your fridge is running at the correct temperature. between 2 and 4 deg C

buzzy110, Dec 16, 9:32pm
And ladies. Do not forget to make lots and lots of sweetened condensed milk salad dressing to go over absolutely everything. It is always a favourite.

mackenzie2, Dec 16, 9:40pm
In case it is not answered, I will give you the one I make, break cauli into 50cent pce size bits, sit aside, Melt 30gms butter, add 2 Tbsp brown sugar and 1 tsp curry, off heat, cool a little then add 1/2 container of ETA mayo (has to be eta) stir, then add to cauli, If you want you can add chopped nuts or parsley just before serving, Really fresh tasty salad...

Whatever I find in my garden on the day.

Most likely lettuce, rocket, endive, celery, tomato, cucumber, courgette, parsley, basil, chives, garlic, borage flowers, nasturtium flowers and a few more herbs.

Dressing will be: Olive oil, cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, pepper and salt.[/quote

Yum, sounds great. I love going out to my garden and collecting fresh produce. Nothing tastes nicer.
