Or malt biscuits or gingernuts - and I usually add a teaspoon of cinnamon or ginger. :-)

in never thought of gingernuts!! thanks for the tip! Im doing a pumpkin pie and wanted to change my base alittle and you have given me some excellent ideas :)

A bit late but chocolate thins or chocolate chippie biscuits make a great base too but gingernuts with pumpkin pie sound good.

Gingernuts as a base with a pineapple cheesescake is yummy too.

Well have just sampled my pumpkin pie with a gingernut and vanilla wine cookie base... YUMMO!!!!
