I prefer traditional tomato but sometimes it's nice to have a basic beef stock/onion type gravy ...

well I'm making my own at the moment. Got the recipie off here last week and I can tell you, it smells wonderful. Have so many tomatoes so am finding ways to use them up.

Caution - although this is delicious it is VERY rich~! 1/2 C tomato sauce (preferabley homemade) 1/2 C brown sugar 1/4 C grainy mustard chopped parsely
Fry the herbs and onion, add tomatoes etc and bring to boil then simmer gentley
