have brought a bag or roasted and salted ones, they are so yummy, (mothernature brand) is there a cheaper way, like can i do them myslef and how. they r 7.00 for a bag..which is quite dear

Roll cooked chickpeas in flour which has been flavoured with garlic or garlic powder and roast in the oven or in a frypan until crisp on outside.

Good with some dhukka mix thrown over them while roasting too or smoked paprika. My kids prefer them now to peanuts and a much healthier option.

Hi Juliewyn firstly I havn't thanked you for your reply re the muffin tins and your Christmas cake but was appreciated! With the roasted chickpeas I also like to do some with cumin, coriander, garlic , salt along with a good splosh of olive oil and really dry them out so they are crisp. Enjoy.
