Did anyone see her do this recipe on tv last night?What did she pour over them?? It was maple syrup and what???also were they covered in the oven or in an open dish??I can remember the stuffing but bugger all else about the recipe. Thanks :)

Buggar... I decided to cook them tonight.Used Royal Gala apples, stuffed them with the brown sugar, chopped dates and chopped nuts and some choc chips.Baked them in a little water. Hmmmmm they tasted crap.I was soooo looking forward to eating them with custard...Prob cause the apples weren't cooking apples and I forgot the maple syrup and butter.

Thanks guys. I made them tonight and they tasted fantastic. Used Pink Lady apples :)
