Does anyone have A nice recipe for chow chow or pickalilly pickle using cauliflour and onions, the stuff that looks yellow and you eat it with cold meat! Please tell me!

love this one, just tried it this month: thank you digby laws 2kg of the following: cauli, broc, beans, cucumber, celery, green toms - chop and slice as necessary into pieces etc, 250g sliced onions all in a bowl and with 1/4 cup of salt sprinkled over them and with 2lts of water. leave covered over night, drain and rinse well and then put in pot with: 1 c sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 2tsp tumeric, 2 Tblsp powdered mustard, 1tsp celery seeds, 4 1/2 cups white vinegar. mix the previous together well and then put on heat and bring up to the boil. boil till veg are tender and cooked and 'sauce' thickened. jar up into clean dry jars and enjoy!
