Here's my recipe from an old cookbook. Cream together 4oz butter and 2/3 cup white sugar.Mix in one cup plain flour.

I use oatbran... 1.5 cps oatbran, 1.5 cups rolled oats 1 cp brown sugar, 100g melted butter 1 tsp ginger..mix and top over fruit

charlieb - i made this a couple of years ago from a cookbook - maybe alison holst but can't be sure.Only made it the once but remember it was very nice.
