I have found an old recipe for a picnic sandwich pie. It says to make the pasty, then put half the mince in, and top with the other ingredients - stuffing, tomatoes, onions, and eggs - sounds yummy. Question is, do I cook the mince first - or put it in raw?

I always cook my mince first, with the onion. Then you can add everything else.

thanks. I thought about it, and I might try it with sausagemeat instead.
