Using chicken and filo pastry

do you cook the chicken first? half the recipies I've looked at say you adn and the rest say your don't. Making chicken cream cheese and apricot. Thanks/

Yes, I would because the temperature and amount of time you need to cook the chicken would burn your filo pastry.

If chicken is sliced very thinly, it will be fine raw.

I use smoked chicken for all that kind of stuff. It's easier and I love the taste. Maybe you could try it?
