buuga; been looking all through my books, nothing is springing up at me. Must have been so simple it wasn't worth writing down. I will try and think simple and see what happens May add an egg custard to the bread , brown sugar, apricots and cream cheese, and see what happens.

You could try this :Oven @ 180C, place apricots into a shallow baking dish, spoon the cc into the apricots and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Warm through and then turn up the grill to caramelise the sugar.

Take a can of peach halves, place cut side up and put a Kingston biscuit in it. Grill for a few minutes.

Found it. Cream Cheese dessert
420 gram can of peaches or apricots 1/2 a cup of brown sugar 100 grams of melted butter 250 grams of cream cheese 4 slices of stale bread, cut crusts off 4 eggs 600 mils of milk
grease a large flat Pyrex dish put in the bottom the drained peaches or apricots sprinkle over the brown sugar pour over the melted butter dot over blobs of cream cheese cover with the slices of bread mix the eggs and milk together and pour over the bread Bake for 35 minutes @180 % C

Im always looking for new desserts to have at barbaques in the Summer and that sounds ideal. Thanks pickles7

I can say, it used to be a favourite in our house. I have heaps of preserved peaches, this should help to use some up.
