Hi, probably a dumb question but i have one of those roasting pans with a lid and i was wondering when i roast chicken in the oven do i put the lid on it or leave it uncovered? As you can see i'am not a experienced cook.

lid on for 3/4 cooking then lid off to crisp the skin.
