I've been a Pesco Vegetarian for over 20 years. Although I eat marmite, my B12 was dangerously low so had to have B12 injections, which hurt like a &&$%$%. Apparently because the injection goes into your muscle, anyway wanting to avoid that again, I looked into sources of B12 and found salmon is high in B12 so I eat that once a week and my B12 is now fine. I havent had a problem with low iron edited to add, I have a food intolerence to soy (causes me to vomit), from an early age, so I dont eat soy/tofu either
