If they can, how long can I keep them. Wanting to use them at Xmas/New Year.
Hubby won 4 dozen fresh oysters in a raffle. He doesn't like them and gave two dozen away, so I have the other 2 dozen. I am thinking of keeping them till Xmas/New Year when the family come home.

yes you can freeze them. I get sent Bluff oysters in season and freeze them for eating throughout the year (best eaten within 6 months)

They are "pacific oysters" in liquid. Do I leave them in the liquid?

Put them in fresh water. We got given a lot of fish frozen this way and was used over the year, all was ok.

yes to leaving them in the liquid they come in. I get pottles of between 1-2 doz sent to me and just freeze them in their pottles, as they are.
