Frozen pork buns

I bought a packet of frozen pork buns from the asian supermarket. I don't have a bamboo steamer. I have a rice cooker with a steaming rack. Which I have googled searched and they say it can be done in a rice cooker but don't give any real instructions on how to do so. Also, should I defrost or put in frozen?

Thanks.

They are a yeast product.I'd defrost and maybe leave them to rise.Any steaming arrangement should work

They should already be cooked, so only need to be heated thru.Defrost or frozen is fine. Place on a flat dish, balance on an empty tin in a large pot of water.Make sure water will not overboil onto the plate (otherwise sogger buns). From frozen about 30 minutes for 6 buns.

OR, sprinkle a bit of water on a frozen bun and microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes on high. Best to eat straight away otherwise the bread dries out.
