Oops, forgot to say that I used ¾ cider vinegar and ¼ balsamic vinegar instead of the malt vinegar.

Oh wow this took me back - it is such a simple recipe and is just a divine pickle - goes with pretty much everything and doesn't need to mature like many pickles do. Ta davidt4 it is on my list of Xmas pressies!
