Changing recipe from oven to crockpot

I have a nice chicken recipe which I have always done in the oven,now I would like to cook it in the crockpot.It takes an hour in the oven how long would it need to be in the crock,its chicken pieces?

shadoe, the following info' is some of the Crock-Pot info' that I have saved on file from my daughter's copy of Joan Bishop's Crock-Pot and Slow Cooker Book.

ADAPTING FAVOURITE RECIPES.
Old favourite recipes can be adapted to slow cooking. Reduce liquid to half the amount and cook for the following times recommended below.

If the recipe says 15-30 minutes, cook in the slow cooker for 1½-2½ hours on HIGH or 4-8 hours on LOW.

If the recipe says 35-40 minutes, cook in the slow cooker for 2-4 hours on HIGH or 6-10 hours on LOW.

If the recipe says 50 minutes - 2 hours, cook in the slow cooker for 4-6 hours on HIGH or 8-12 hours on LOW.

Note: The times given above are estimates only. Times may vary depending on some ingredients and amounts in recipes.
