We have an italian themed dinner party to go to and have been asked to provide the soup course. Does anyone have a tried and true favourite soup recipe that would be suitable? I was thinking a tomato soup but I tried a roasted tomato soup recipe this week and it was quite acidic.

Is minestrone Italian? Not my favourite so can't help you much though.
