My last house we built our own kitchen with walk in pantry and 18 draws under the benches. It was bliss, I had a draw for everything. Unfortunately we moved again and I now have only 4 small draw's for cutlery, utensils, teatowels, and miscellaneous items plus 2 pots and pans draws we built into the new bench extension with the dishwasher. Don't miss the big w/I pantry so much but sure miss my 18 draws.

Mine is similar. Except I went through the entire kitchen and ditched everything that was rarely used first. I have one knife now. 2 peelers. and so on. and I use the container method.
