They scored 52.

Sad for Dan and Steph, thank goodness they still in the competition.Have to say I did warm to the housewives tonight, the two Asian girls are a real nightmare, can't wait for their turn.

duce3, Mar 19, 7:51am
Thank you for letting me know the score.
I thought the mother/daughter last round were witches but the two Asian girls look to be shaping up to be worse!

lodgelocum, Mar 19, 7:56am
They surely do!

strebor1, Mar 19, 7:57am
It is almost as if they put a couple of you know whats in each group, just to keep the interest up, as it does just that indeed.

tehenga288, Mar 19, 7:58am
Actually the two Asian girls are totally ruining the show for me. It just highlights the flaws in having the other contestants score their competitors. Maybe they should have guest judges or something - I don'tt know - but contestants scoring each other is not working anymore.

patsprat, Mar 20, 3:47am
I read an Aussie magazine last week which said that the whole thing is heavily scripted by the producers and contestants were instructed what to do/say/wear etc.The kitchens they cook in are not even their own homes in some cases but chosen by the producers. Which is possiblythe reason contestants can't find things which you'd think they would in their own kitchens.Makes good TV but not what we're led to believe.

strebor1, Mar 20, 4:11am
I am not entirely surprised by that. All the kitchens are just too nice to be ALL theirs. I had to laugh at him mowing the brown lawn with not a blade of grass on last night. I think these days it would be naive to think that all these reality shows are straight up. They are all competing with one another, so have to be heavily scripted, or the amateur ones would miss out. The Asian girls will probably be a farce I am predicting.

I wonder what the Geeks will dish up tonight! Could be - um - different!

lodgelocum, Mar 20, 4:36am
The 'geeks' are very confident aren't they, will be interesting.

lodgelocum, Mar 20, 4:38am
Probably true but wouldn't it be nice to think that it wasn't all scripted.I might stay 'naive' for a little while yet! lol

kaddiew, Mar 20, 4:48am
PLEASE -not even any almost-spoilers! :)I read this thread ever so cautiously in case someone lets something slip. How sad is that!

lodgelocum, Mar 20, 5:39am
Rest assure, none of us regulars in this thread would ever put up a spoiler, only a 'gatecrasher' would do that lol

lodgelocum, Mar 20, 6:54am
This is going to be a fun night.what a bossy bi#@h.

twindizzy, Mar 20, 7:09am
Couple of questions:

1) Is that fringe for real!
2) Why does everyone stuff up dishes they have cooked 1000 times
3) Where is the husband!

bedazzledjewels, Mar 20, 7:15am
5 hours until the main course!! Assuming they all arrived at 6pm at the earliest, that's 11pm! I'd have gone home.

lodgelocum, Mar 20, 7:52am
That was so funny, they seemed so carefree about the time it was taking them, I too would have walked out Bedazzled;11pm and then dessert.Big catfight next week, am really enjoying this series.

strebor1, Mar 20, 8:48am
Well I reckon they all deserve a special prize for sitting there that long, then getting a mediocre meal for their trouble! What a hoot this series is. Definitely entertaining though!

kokako14, Mar 20, 9:20am
The dude tonight didn't seem to know much about cooking! She seemed to run the kitchen and he was just the go for for her

duce3, Mar 20, 9:27am
I wonder if they even think their menu through before hand.If I was on it I'd be sure to plan exactly what I knew I could do with time to spare. It might not be designer food presented beautifully but it would be good and on time.

duckmoon, Mar 20, 10:30am
2. Because they have cooked it for four people not twelve.

twindizzy, Mar 20, 6:35pm
I don't buy that at all.

Would you not do 2, 3 ,4 test runs for that amount of people first knowing very well you were going on the programme!

It's not just the number of people they are cooking for- they forget ingredients, stuff up basic cooking methods and hardly ever make any extras.

mwood, Mar 20, 11:14pm
“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
At least it does appear tp prove that this Series is unrehearsed and presumably not orchestrated in advance by the Directors.

kokako14, Mar 21, 12:36am
You do need to remember that that couple doing the Pork Knuckles did change the cooking methed when the cryovac didn't work. They had intended sealing and poaching the pork knuckles, but then had to shove the 12 of them into the oven instead encased in tinfoil. And as we saw it was a major fail

duckmoon, Mar 21, 2:25am
but they also seem to do dishes which don't fit in the oven, can't multiply a recipe through for the number of guests and can't work out that rolling an ingredient out for twelve will take longer than for four.

Nor do they make an extra in case of an accident
