They're nice guys - and it was sad about the kale salad, but I must try that when my kale plants produce. I was a little surprised that their dessert scored 10s. I reckon this couple tonight might be good.

I have alway said cooking anything in cola, is disgusting, I don't know how anyone could do it. I know they do, I have seen recipes here for stuff cooked in cola, and rushed off to the toilet after reading it. I can't believe anyone would go into a cooking competition and do that.

I'm not surprised that her custard for the icecream didn't thicken; the pot was almost overflowing! Every time she stirred it, I expected it to pour over the sides. And that caramel looked awful. Oh dear! Let's see how Miss Cupcake and her friend go tonight.

I felt a bit sorry for the one of this partnership who can actually cook ! She had quite a big workload with all the entree and the sausages while Miss Cupcake made 4 batches of mousse! Unbelievable! Just as well she seemed to have endless supplies of cream and eggs and strawberries. And the only other thing we saw her make was the mash, which was criticised.

Agree. Miss Cupcake looks like she'll crumble under the pressure, it'll only get worse from here on out - even the judges commented on it. I couldn't cope with someone like that he needed constant propping up while I was trying to get everything else done.

It was hard watching her stuffing up, surprised she didn't make cupcakes for dessert as she has gone on all week how good she was at them.Had to laugh at the sausages though, didn't look nice on the plate! even though they tasted nice.

I remember a few years ago I had this idea to put mash potatoe into the food processor as I thought it would make it nice and smooth. Haha I will never forget that experiment! It was probably worse than what was served last night and yip it totally sticks to the top of your mouth, your teeth, your tongue , everything! *insert cow licking noises here*Who would of thought potatoe can turn to glue! LOL crack up!

i cant believe that people mash their potaotes with a sticker blender. Isn't it cooking 101 that if you over-mash pototes they get gluttenous (is that the right word) and turn to glue.
If you dont want to use a masher, then use a ricer or a sieve.
