Any suggestions for a senior citizen's christmas luncheon dessert finger food.!Will be catering for around 60 people. To help us in a small kitchen we will have a nice main meal but to help the stress levels we thought we'd just have finger food for dessert! Thanks for any suggestions.
brandy snaps, chocolate eclairs, apple shotcakes, mini pecan pies, or mini lemon merringue tarts

All the above! I was going to say Brandy snaps and Choc eclairs. the pecan, lemon meringue or cheesecake are good options for those that don't like cream.I'd also add some fruit kebabs. and something chocolate. could just be those chocolate/marshmellow hearts on the kebabs, or a dish of choc's somewhere!

creamed lamingtons, big fat creamed sponges, I wouldn't go with too much nutty food, could be a fair few false teeth in the room

mini-pavlovas.I tried to find a recipe for a way that trifle could be done as a finger food, but no luck.I don't know if this would work or not, it's just an idea: cut a trifle sponge butterfly-style. spread jam on each half, and then cut into finger-size pieces. put some berries (maybe soaked for a little while in sherry if appropriate) on each piece, then top with a dollop each of custard and whipped cream.
The sponge might go way too soggy, but there could be alternative bases used!

I visit a retirement home and have learned that seniors like really tiny bite-sized things.I'd make sure that everything was mini.

Cream puffs, mini fruit mince pies and Nigella's chocolate pistachio fudge - add some cranberries too for a real Christmassy look
