Best eaten on the day. They go stale very quickly. Saying that you can always reheat the next day in the oven. My kids will eat them stale but not nice for visitors. I haven't tried freezing them though.

You can mix all the dry ingredients together and add liquid in the last moment before baking.
Or freeze and reheat very carefully when wanted.
I always have a bag full in the freezer.

I usually make a double batch and always freeze any leftovers.When they are wanted, I defrost in the microwave, they are as fresh as on the day of baking.
