Hello,
Planning to attend High Tea prior to WOW. As a fellow baker/indulger of delicious treats, interested to know which High Tea in WGTN you recommend! Thinking in terms of freshness, quality, presentation etc. Thank you.

Thank you, will check out these suggestions! (By the way, had a v. nice mini dev cream tea at the Embassy Theatre during the recent Film Festival. Bite sized scones and several rich jams and cream. Plus a great range of tea.)

We went to James Cook/Whitby - very disappointing. Luckily it was a half price deal, but even then it wasn't worth it.

Another vote for Sweet Pea in Petone.

I wouldn't waste time or money at James Cook, extremely disappointing, Martha's very overpriced for what you receive.I took a friend from Brisbane there last year, there were several other issues as well.
Still rate Hippo. Enjoy wherever you go and enjoy WOW as well.

Sweet pea in Petone or Zelandia wildlife centre cafe does a really nice high tea on the deck with bubbly

Martha's Pantry is truly gorgeous - the food, the staff and particularly the setting/crockery etc
