Can you freeze diced Onions

We were suppose to have a BBC yesterday but because of a bereavment
it was posponed \. we had a bag of potatoes already choped up. What is the best way to keep them for a week.

pending on how you were going to use them. I have seen onions in the frozen section of the supermarket.

I always keep a stock of chopped onions in the freezer - also leeks for when they are so expensive

What do you freeze the onions and leeks in groomingools and do you cook them please!

there are diced onions in some of the frozen veges.Just make sure you freeze them on a tray first, or else you'll end up with one large solid blob!

Just throw them in a plastic bag - and yes I cook them when needed.I use a lot of both so it is easy to take a handful out

I often chop onions for frying then freeze what I dont need. Makes being quick easier.

My mother used to saute onions, till just soft, without browning, then she would freeze them loosely on a tray, then bag them for later use.They were freeflow this way.
