make a white sauce then add mustard to taste. Or if you have the powdered mustard, add water I would think. Pending on what you want it with.

yes mumstoys - here's a recipe for you to try - it's from the former Trademe Cooks.
"Here's mine - passed down the family. 2 Tbsp flour, 1 dsp mustard, 1 dsp sugar, 3 Tbsp vinegar, 25 gr butter (I don't put this in myself) 2 cups corned beef liquid. Mix the dry ingreds with vinegar and corned beef liquid. Bring to boil, stirring. posted by grandma" :-))

I always keep a fewpackets of cheese sauce mix in the pantry, one of those with a 1/2-1 teaspoon of mustard powder stirred into it makes a lovely mustard sauce, & so quick as well as tasty
