Masterchef Allstars was great watching and to actually remember the faces - Kumar, Poh, Hayden, Justine, Julie etc. Nice to see it's for charity too.
Masterchef Australia must doing well to have these off-shoots.hasn't there been an Australian Celebrity Masterchef as well, or am I getting confused with the British one!

She did put it back in to the frying pan - but she put it in, in the original big pieces.

Relief, thank you. I wondered what the helll was going on and if series link had missed it, roll on tomorrow night. :)

I see another Masterchef Spoiler over in General."don't you know such and such won over .", and this is from a person that does come on here a bit as well, what a tosser.

i see there is no post for Masterchef USA. anybody into that show! compared to MC Oz, it seems to lack fraternity between the contestants.

it also needed some water and the lid on for a quick steam burst - just might have cooked it (restaurant tip)

strebor1, Sep 22, 5:31am
I still think that even though her fish wasn't quite cooked, she did far more than Audra, and should have stayed in preference to her. Did you see the look on her mentor's face when she was eliminated, he obviously thought so too. Can't wait for tonight, we should see some great dishes hopefully.

Alpha you are correct - it is completely within your rights to be spiteful, vindictitive, and show your complete lack of intelligence - though why you would want to beggars belief.

mizp, Sep 22, 10:53am
WELL! Wow Wee! How exciting was that!! Even though I have known for weeks who won, it didn't spoil it for me at all, I was on the edge of my seat - very exciting and great fun.
Not saying who won because some may still not have watched it, but it was a great couple of hours' TV.

books4nz, Sep 22, 11:23am
I agree mizp, loved the show, and enjoyed the all-stars on friday night too, looking forward to more.

strebor1, Sep 22, 7:58pm
Gosh I hope they have another series soon, it is such good entertainment, just love it. The Allstars one is only on for 3 weeks I think, so what are we going to do then! Christmas is coming so I guess we will be back to the usual scungy programmes, total repeats, etc, bring on next year!

bedazzledjewels, Sep 22, 8:13pm
I think the Allstars goes through to a single winner, so should last for a while yet.
And they're calling for entries for next year's series over there. Meanwhile there's UK Professionals on TV1 on Saturdays around 1pm. It's got about 18 episodes yet to run. And of course there's MKR, which is quite a laugh, running on TV2.

lodgelocum, Sep 22, 10:10pm
Just loved the series, bring on the next one.Andy did so well with the dessert, considering he doesn't do desserts, let alone never made icecream!Doesn't it become a huge part of your tv entertainment, you get to know them over the three months,.

strebor1, Sep 22, 11:09pm
I hope Masterchef Allstars goes on for a while, but I heard Gary say "for the next three weeks" to start with. Hopefully I am wrong!

strebor1, Sep 22, 11:10pm
Yes I do feel as though I know them, quite right. I am glad Andy won, and of course so is his Mother!

holly-rocks, Sep 22, 11:30pm
Just checked up on Facebook and they have an add for applications for 2013 master chef ~ https://www.facebook.com/#!/MasterChefAustralia

strebor1, Sep 22, 11:33pm
Cool, well a while to wait, but hopefully Britain will have another one before then. I like theirs as well.

bedazzledjewels, Sep 22, 11:45pm
Apologies - you're right about Allstars. Just goes for 3 weeks.
Is there going to be a NZ master chef next year! Slight groans!

jaygee1962, Sep 23, 12:18am
Well done Andy!My husband knew who won from a month or so ago and he was really surprised when he found out but over the last two weeks Andy just seemed to click with everything.I had thought the final two would be Mindy and maybe Audra, but Mindy seemed to lose her mojo when they came back from Italy and Audra was started to look pretty durn tired, imagine the stress.

Rats, didn'trealise the Allstars started on Friday, have set the programme to record and will have to watch the first one on demand.I'm enjoying the British Professionals series but that Pertwee guy's voice creeps me out a little :)

mizp, Sep 23, 12:37am
What was it exactly that Audra didn't understand about the direction to make a HOT entrée! That's twice in a row she shot herself in the foot.

They must be under a LOT of pressure though, emotional and physical - being away from their families for so long - and performing in front of millions of TV viewers. I take my hat off to all of them because I certainly couldn't do it.
I wish I had seen it from the beginning, I only got 'into it' a few weeks ago.

lodgelocum, Sep 23, 2:02am
Haha, yes, there is another one in the making now, auditions finished a month or so ago, suppose we will see it summer time!

bedazzledjewels, Sep 23, 5:23am
Brilliant, DT4.

davidt4, Sep 23, 5:32am
It's great, isn't it.I've just watched the final - my goodness they padded it out with waffle.

It must have been very interesting watching the series knowing who the winner was and taking special notice of his development.

strebor1, Sep 23, 6:19am
Yes "waffle" and advertisements!
