Yes, everyone needs to see.

But master chef NZ does it with different height bar stools

245sam, Aug 15, 8:00am
A much more appropriate option IMO and what about what is done for some cooking shows/demo's.have overhead mirrors sdo that no-one misses out on seeing what's being done - I actually think they'd all get an even better view with mirrors.:-))

duckmoon, Aug 15, 8:21am
There is also a giant TV in the front of the bench where the expert cooks. So they see as much (and as closely) as we see

carlosjackal, Aug 16, 6:18am
So Andrew dodges yet another bullet! Damn! I was hoping Sam may have got through, but thrilled that Athena is still in the competition.

ibcreative, Aug 16, 7:38am
Yes, I was thinking Andrew's time must be up, but no, he lives to fight another day.

Do you mean Amina! Not sure of spelling.

duckmoon, Aug 16, 7:49am
I am really pleased that Amina is still there.

I was surprised that Andrew made it though.I think Sam is a better/more consistent cook than Wndrew

ibcreative, Aug 16, 7:53am
Likewise.

carlosjackal, Aug 16, 9:32am
Yes.she is a very talented cook and a has lovely personality aswell.

purplegoanna, Aug 16, 11:21pm
shes fab.out of all of them i like her the best in both personality and her cooking skills & ideas.i could quite happily eat her food 24/7.if she puts out a cookbook im first in the queue

carlosjackal, Aug 16, 11:22pm
.and I'll be right behind you in the queue! LOL!

bedazzledjewels, Aug 16, 11:30pm
i'll bet she does a book in the future too.
I see that Cam from the NZ master chef last year has got a new book out.

2young1, Aug 17, 2:34am
sam the sweaty assassin.lol

strebor1, Aug 17, 3:05am
Ooh yes. I wonder how many meals he has served up to unsuspecting guests, thinking the meal was a bit salty! Yes I think Amina and her cooking are awesome. She did so much in such a short time in this last challenge, I am sure if her rice had been better she wouldn't have been in the bottom three. Surely Andrew has to go next!I am really enjoying this series and look forward to it every day. Have picked up some yummy recipes as well. The NZ one will be so disappointing after this, or maybe not, we will see.

lodgelocum, Aug 17, 5:31am
Its time Andrew went, better cooks than him have already gone.

2young1, Aug 17, 5:58am
yep. dalvinder was very good.

carlosjackal, Aug 17, 9:58am
Why on earth would Tregan (or anyone for that matter) choose to cook something that they've never attempted before, in an Immunity Challenge! Tregan had never before made Tortellini, so why attempt to make it in her ImmunityChallenge! If Matt Moran hadn't been there to mentor her and give her advice, she probably would have completely stuffed her entree up. A shame the main course was just "raisin overload".I mean it (raisins) was supposed to be the hero of the dish but not to the detriment of all other flavours.same as for the dessert; Raisin Frangipani plus a heap of extra raisins on top! I think if she'd chosen different contestants to help her she might just have won the Immunity pin.

bedazzledjewels, Aug 17, 8:42pm
I was looking forward to seeing something more creative from Julia in the dessert. Last immunity challenge they made a tart too - a creme brulee tart. Boring!

UK Masterchef the Professionals - the 2011 season starts today at 1.30 on TV1. I loved the last series.

carlosjackal, Aug 18, 5:15am
I do watch the UK Masterchef but the voice of the woman who narrates the programme drives me mad! And for me, it's spoils an otherwise great show.

bedazzledjewels, Aug 18, 5:18am
She's not narrating in this series carlosjackal - so welcome back!

carlosjackal, Aug 18, 8:50am
Ahhhh great! I'm looking forward to watching it again now! Thanks for letting me know ;o)

Incidentally, is it true that this is the last season of Masterchef Australia! I did hear it somewhere and was wondering if it's true.

slimgym, Aug 18, 11:31am
Our family love australia masterchief hope this isnt the last series,we are not going to watch the NZ one it always seems to be jacked up, and the judges are so rude

ed65, Aug 18, 6:59pm
I've been enjoying Masterchef Australia Allstars online where they've brought back teams of four from each of the first three series (Julie, Callum, Kate, etc) and they're all competing to raise money for different charities. Last week they had four contestants from the 2012 season (that you're all watching now) assisting in the kitchen.

bedazzledjewels, Aug 18, 9:31pm
I thought I'd seen somewhere that they were taking entries for the next season. Will check it out.

bedazzledjewels, Aug 20, 6:35am
I felt sorry for Yellow Team tonight, having to cook in a garage!
