I do, I brown sausage first in separate fry pan, transfer to slow cooker, adding potatoes, onions, parsnips, carrots, etc. I normally slice the sausages into three pieces after cooked.Then in the used pan, I add flour and curry powder, cook off so not to have the flour taste, add water or stock, simmer until thickened and add all to the slow cooker, only takes 4 or 5 hrs. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.You may need to add extra liquid if to thick.

I like this recipe from Alison Holst, haven't had it for a while actually, might need to get some sausages.
I think it's nicest with fresh apples rather than canned.

A vote for Alison Holst's recipe - I double it (in the crockpot) and freeze the extra meal for later.
