Hi my daughter is making the chelsea buns in the Edmonds recipe book. Question. says to knead until smooth and elastic.Can the dough be over worked!Roughly how long should it take to knead until smooth and elastic.Many thanks.

Is it a yeast dough!If so, about 10 minutes kneading for a beginner.As you get better at kneading and get to know the texture of the finished dough, you can reduce the time slightly.
