Years ago in the Listener, there was recipe where you baked lots of different vegetables and added water, vinegar and sugar. It made a great sauce and the vegetables tasted terrific. All I remember is that you had to cover the baking dish with tinfoil and bake them for about 1 hour! Does anyone know this recipe! I've tried to google it but no success whatsoever :(

Sounds a bit like someone was trying to copy the taste of balsalmic vinegar.
