Have just roasted a batch of peanuts for my peanut brownie biscuits.do you take off the husks or leave them on!

I take mine off. Easy to do once roasted, just grab handfuls and roll them in your fingers. Then take tray outside and blow the loose skins off, or if it's windy like today, the wind will do it for you.

I give them a quick whizz in the food processer to chop them up a little then they go further and hold in the mixture better.

I use raw peanuts for peanut brownies, don't take the skins off!

Poster not long ago said she used salted peanuts & omitted salt from recipe. No I leave husks on, but heat in oven before adding.

Peanuts taste better after bring roasted and husks removed.

Remove the husks, and then if wished place in a plastic bag and bash them with the rolling pin to a desired size. I am making them tomorrow after roasting the peanuts today, I love the smell.
