Best way to cook Flounder?

childhood memories here .my dad would return from floundering with a large catch.and sometimes a Sand Shark to be scared off.the whole flounder on your plate seemed very generous though I avoided the row. to many I know itsthe best part.lol.

Flounder yum! whether it be pan fried, with a sauce, or filleted love it. Thats the beauty of this thread new ideas floating around all the time, always good to broaden ones cooking skills with new ideas.

Iuse 4 large sheets of newspaper, wet it all the way through, place flounder at one end, season with a little salt, pepper and a squeese or slice or 2 of lemon, wrap the fish and place in center of oven at about 160 deg C for about 1/2 hour. Carefully unwrap fish and turn onto plate, easy clean up and lovely fresh steamed flounder

like the sound of that i just wash with water and bake for ten minutes
