Flakey puff pastry cut small enough to fit into pattie pans with a dollop of basil pesto and a cherry tomato on top cooked till pastry is done! YUM!

google jelly shots - also strawberry jelly shots - along the cocktails theme, very visually appealing and original.Also you can do a sweet version of bigsneaks idea.Use sweet short pastry (ready rolled), cut out small circles using a cookie cutter (or a small tin or glass), bake till just done, and when cool, top with whatever you like: whipped cream and a strawberry slice (or nectarine or apricot slice), creme fraiche with a blueberry or a tiny bit of fruit sauce, etc. I did this and they were very popular.

Curry chowder-- make a mussel or seafood curry chowder cut out pastry rounds big enuf to fit in muffin tray and fill with chowder and bake. Garnish mmmmm deeeelish.

Wonton wrappers filled with minced prawns, chilli, coriander, garlic and squeeze of lemon.and make a dipping sauce or plain kikkoman soya sauce.

Chicken nibbles browned and baked then add lashings of sweet chilli sauce toss all nibbles sprinkle on toasted seasame seeds and top with sour cream and cheese.
